The school year at Croydon Primary is full of interesting events and activities that add to the breadth of curriculum offered.

The school provides a comprehensive camps program. This begins with the Prep children breakfasting at school, the Year 1 children coming back for tea and games, Year 2 children sleeping overnight at the school, Years 3 and 4 attending a camp for 3 days and Years 5 and 6 attending camps for 3 or 4 days.

During the year, special focus days occur, where the children are placed in multi-age groups and rotate through a number of different activities. This year we have held a Literature day, Science day and a Maths day. The children have enjoyed being in different groups and being challenged with activities that are different to the normal classroom routines.

There have been a number of incursions to the school and excursions to outside places. These include:

  • Healesville Sanctuary
  • District Cross Country and Athletics Sports
  • Sports Clinics - football, soccer, basketball and tennis
  • RACV guest speaker
  • Paraquad guest speaker
  • Book Week theatre company
  • Swimming lessons for all grades
